Remote working

Are you a passionate Graphic Designer looking to use your skills for a meaningful cause? Join us for a 10-week fixed-term contract as sabbatical cover, working three days per week, and help drive real change for wildlife.

As a leading campaigning and lobbying organisation, we fight to end the persecution of wild animals for so-called ‘sport.’ This isn’t just a job—it’s an opportunity to be part of a movement dedicated to protecting animals and achieving real legislative change.

About the role
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our organisation, collaborating with teams across the charity to deliver high-quality, impactful designs that align with our brand guidelines. You’ll take ownership of both print and digital projects, ensuring engaging, creative output while maintaining brand consistency.

As our brand champion, you will:

  • Design and produce compelling print and digital materials.
  • Ensure all creative work aligns with brand guidelines and the communications process.
  • Take ownership of projects, meeting deadlines and objectives with accountability.
  • Manage relationships with print suppliers, ensuring top-quality production and delivery.
  • Support the social media team by creating engaging assets for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

About You
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Graphic Designer who can bring creativity, organisation, and a keen eye for detail to our cause.

  • At least three years of experience in a graphic design role.
  • Expert knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for animal welfare and a drive to make a difference.

Additional information
As this is a fixed-term sabbatical cover, the role includes a one-week handover period at the beginning and end for training and transition.

You’ll be working with a purposeful, passionate team where you can put your skills to use helping the League to redefine what is acceptable and inspire positive change to animal welfare legislation.

The League Against Cruel Sports is Britain’s leading charity working towards a kinder society where persecuting animals for ‘sport’ is in the past.

Redefining what is acceptable and inspiring change, we were instrumental in helping bring about the landmark Hunting Act (2004). Driven by compassion and empowered by knowledge, we manage sanctuaries to protect wildlife, carry out investigations to expose law-breaking and cruelty to animals, and campaign for stronger animal protection laws and penalties.

United, we will end animal cruelty in the name of sport.

To apply, please send your CV, including a link to your portfolio, along with a letter of interest. We are looking to fill this role quickly and will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis
