• Governance
• Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
• Research
• Understanding of the charity and voluntary sector in Birmingham
• Faith sector knowledge

What you’ll do:

• Shape BVSC’s vision and policies to address key community challenges.
• Collaborate with a passionate team to promote BVSC’s mission.
• Act as an ambassador, building meaningful relationships with supporters and partners.

We welcome experienced applicants, as well as individuals who are looking to develop into a trustee role. This role offers an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development, allowing you to build leadership skills, gain governance experience, and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Time Commitment:

Your contribution matters. Trustees dedicate a few hours each month to meetings, reviews, and other board-related activities. Board meetings are held bi-monthly, with additional sub-committee meetings and an annual away day.
