Newcastle upon Tyne
At the Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland, we share a love for North East England and believe in the importance of giving and philanthropy, backing local charities and championing disadvantaged people. Every year, we award grants to hundreds of local charities and community organisations through funds set up by donors and partners.
As our new Senior Policy and Public Affairs Advisor, you’ll ensure we understand the policy environment for our work, lead on gathering data from our grant-making and related fields, oversee our research projects and work on influencing key stakeholders. You’ll lead our flagship Vital Signs project and commission projects including our Third Sector Trends Study. You don’t need to have worked in the funding field, but you’ll bring understanding of policy relevant to our work. You’ll be able to research, analyse, interpret and present different types of data. You’ll believe in backing the brilliant work of small charities and embracing equality and diversity.
Alongside an attractive salary and benefits package, we offer a great office environment, travel-to-work schemes and flexible/hybrid working opportunities.
