Caseworker

RESTART Lives is a small London homelessness charity supporting homeless people to break the cycle of homelessness and move towards independent living, feeling more empowered, confident and resilient. We focus in particular on supporting our clients to take steps towards self-sufficiency via finding employment.

The Caseworker will work with guests one on one (taking on cases) and in group settings. This person will co-ordinate the ways in which we support our clients, be that by referring them into our own programmes, referring them to other services, or working with them more concertedly on a one to one basis. They may support clients by attending appointments with them, assisting them in form filling, or helping them to prioritise their goals in moving forwards amongst other things. The Caseworker will follow up on all services and resources provided to allow the charity to maintain reporting on our inputs to clients and their subsequent outcomes. 

There is one full time role or 4 days per week, and either must include most Fridays 6.30-8.30pm working at our drop in.
