Admin & Operations Coordinator
We are delighted to be working with a newly founded community centre in Broxbourne to find a temporary, part time Admin & Operations Coordinator. This role is based at their community centre for 3 days per week for a minimum of 3 months.
The Admin and Operations Coordinator will work closely with and support the Head of Community and Partnerships to ensure the smooth running, safety, and upkeep of the Community Centre. This includes managing bookings, finances, and general operations of the organisation. The post-holder will deputise for the Head of Community and Partnerships when necessary.
You will work closely with the Head of Community and Partnerships and Trustees to identify and action opportunities that support and increase the Community Centre revenues, income, and bookings.
You will also handle day-to-day correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and inquiries from community members and external stakeholders, as well as community centre bookings and the financial administration of the bookings. You will be comfortable with finance admin and will raise invoices and process payments for bills on behalf of the centre.
• Assist in budget tracking, invoice processing, and financial reporting.
• Handle petty cash and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Ensure all financial transactions are coded correctly.
You will also be an accomplished administrator who can minute meetings and assist in event planning, as well as assisting with the onboarding of new staff and volunteers.
