Join a dynamic team at a leading educational provider in St Albans

Ivy Rock Partners are thrilled to be working with a leading educational provider in St Albans in search of a financial accountant to join their small yet dynamic team.

This role is technically focused, including tasks such as:
• Support on the annual audit of the financial statements,
• Supporting the implementation of a new financial system in 2025
• Leading month-end tasks, such as balance sheet reconciliation and management accounts
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
• Supporting the colleges annual budget and forecast preparation.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a strong background in both management and financial accounting, who can handle technical tasks and can support the colleges’ financial goals. Sector experience is flexible.  

What’s on offer?

A competitive salary of £50,000-£60,000 FTE, with a fantastic pension, around 30 days of annual leave plus extra time off at Christmas, and hybrid working options. Full-time or part-time (3-4 days a week) positions are available, with 2 days in the office for contract roles and 4 days for full-time roles. The contract is a 12-month FTC with potential for a day rate or permanent position.
