Job description

The Trust is seeking a highly motivated and personable individual to join our ambitious and successful Nature Recovery Team, and play a key role in preparing, managing and delivering our prestigious river and wetland restoration projects. You will be joining a dynamic team within a charity committed to nature’s recovery across Wiltshire, with over 40 nature reserves and 23,000 members. WWT delivers high profile, nationally important work.

Within the Nature Recovery Team you will help in the smooth running of the Landscape Recovery Project, a pioneering project working in the Wylye Valley to develop a strategy to deliver nature’s recovery alongside sustainable farming. You will also support the Wiltshire and Swindon Biological Records Centre and Water Team in the administration of their river, wetland and species recovery projects. This role covers three teams all delivering groundbreaking projects so you will have the opportunity to be at the cutting edge of nature’s recovery in Wiltshire.

We would love to hear from you if you have knowledge and experience of managing or administrating projects, particularly in the conservation sector. We also welcome applications from candidates with experience administering projects in the public and private sector or with demonstratable strong organisational skills.
