Grants and Partnerships Officer

England, United Kingdom (Hybrid)
£24,187 per year (Pro-rata £11057)
Part-time (2 days per week - 16 hours)
Permanent
Job description

This is a great time to join Vision Support Barrow and District, with a new Chief Executive in post and an ambitious three year strategy about to be launched, there is much to be excited about.  Based across South West Cumbria, we provide support for adults, children and young people who have lived experience of vision impairment. We have a commitment to amplifying the voices of people with lived experience and this will be lived out through both the levels of representation in our team and our Vision Voices Stakeholder panel.

The role of the Grants and Partnerships Officer is a great opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in building the foundations on which our services are delivered.  Writing compelling bids, sharing service user testimonies and building great relationships with corporate and philanthropic partners across South West Cumbria, no two days will be the same!

The role is hybrid, with just four days a month needed in the office.  We particularly welcome applications from people who are currently under-represented in our team, including people from minoritised ethnic communities, people with disabilities, particularly those with sight loss and people who identify as LGBTQIA+.
