The Talent Set are excited to partner with Northamptonshire Health Charity to recruit for a Trusts & Foundations Manager on a permanent, part-time basis.

What’s on offer:
Salary: £41,500 FTE
Contract:  Part-time, 3 days (21 hours) per week
Working Pattern: Hybrid/remote, with monthly travel into the office required

This is a brand new role within a growing fundraising team, perfect for an experienced Trusts fundraiser keen to develop and grow income aligned with the Charity’s strategic objectives.
Key duties include:

  • Lead on strategic development of Trust and Foundation/grant revenue, with a focus on growing sustainable income for the charity in line with agreed targets
  • Lead on the development, preparation and submission of professional, personalised and compelling grant proposals/applications and reports to secure new funds
  • Collaborate closely with hospital staff to gather information and data needed for funding applications and reports that include outcome and impact measures to secure funding and enable robust reporting back
  • Respond and apply to NHS Charities Together grant opportunities as and when appropriate
  • Report regularly on all grant income, expenditure, activity, outcomes and opportunities providing accurate and timely information as required
  • Proactively research, identify and apply to new funding opportunities  
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive stewardship journey for trusts and foundations, ensuring engaging and personalised account management


We’re looking for the following skills and experience for this role:

  • A strong track record of identifying, cultivating and securing funding from Trusts & Foundations especially grants of £50k+
  • Experience writing compelling and successful funding proposals
  • Strong understanding of the funding landscape, including knowledge of major trusts and foundations in the sector
  • Grant writing expertise - exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals tailored to different audiences
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with ability to connect and influence a range of stakeholders
