We have an exciting opportunity for a new Team Leader to work within our Work and Wellbeing team in Barnsley.

The successful candidate will lead our Individual Placement & Support employment team in Barnsley.

More about the role:

The Team Leader will report to the Head of Work & Wellbeing, and lead a small team of Employment Specialists. The focus of the role is to:

  • Lead a team to successfully deliver IPS employment support within South Yorkshire
  • Lead a highly effective team of Employment Specialists to provide positive and sustained employment outcomes for our customers in line with their job preferences
  • Deliver a high-quality service in line with the IPS
  • Provide effective operational oversight to the team
  • Work collaboratively with partners, employers and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery and achieve better outcomes for our customers

  • A positive mindset, able to handle setbacks and challenges, and a commitment to working in a strengths-based way.
  • Be willing to work across South Yorkshire as required.
