Role title: Visitor Hospitality - Welcome/Greeter
Main purpose of the role: To welcome volunteers and visitors eg families arriving for weekly lunches and say goodbye after.
What you will be doing:
- To (receive key) open up (unlock) St Mary’s Crypt for events eg family lunch and welcome and greet volunteers and families on arrival (signing in/checking records) and lock/close up safely (key holder- to return as needed).
- Also to purchase basic supplies as agreed as needed eg, milk (at no expense to volunteers)
When and where you will be doing it:
- St Mary’s Crypt
- From 1- 4 times a month, probably Monday/Tuesday (approx 3 hours)
- + 1 team meeting per term
Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Requirements:
- Enhanced child and adult check
- Who you will be responsible to: Rev Catherine Shelley , Lucy Tull and the organising team; and overall to the PCC (trustees)
Training requirements:
- Induction
- Safeguarding online or in person
- Support you will be given
- Induction, training, regular check in and termly meeting
