Job description

Role Overview:

The Talent Set is thrilled to be working with a health charity as they search for a Research Communications Manager to support them for a 12-month FTC.

 

As the Research Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the charity’s reputation as a leader in research. You will effectively communicate research findings to both internal and external audiences, maximising the impact of our research programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement research communications strategy.
  • Collaborate with researchers to identify communication opportunities.
  • Translate complex research into accessible content for various audiences.
  • Create engaging content for publications, website, social media, and other channels.
  • Manage research centre visits and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to charity’s annual organisational impact report.
  • Ensure effective communication between research teams and other departments.

 

Person Specification:

  • Experience in science or health communications.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging content.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
