As a Volunteer Bookkeeper, you will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with bookkeeping experience who wants to contribute their skills to a meaningful cause.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, including income and expenditure.

Record transactions using [accounting software, e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or spreadsheets].

Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash records.

Assist in preparing financial reports for trustees and funders.

Ensure financial records comply with relevant regulations and best practices.

Support with budget tracking and grant reporting (if applicable).

Liaise with the Treasurer or Finance Manager to ensure smooth financial operations.
Skills & Experience

Experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting (formal qualifications are a bonus but not essential).

Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
