People Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to support a busy People team and contribute to the provision of a high quality, business and people focused HR service.

Position: Business Administrator

Location: Hybrid/London

Hours: Full time

Salary: £33,596

Contract: Permanent

Interviews: Interviews will take place on Thursday 8th May at the offices in Victoria. The interview will include a short assessment task.

The Role

You will be responsible for providing administrative and project support across a wide range of areas including responding to queries in a timely and professional manner, providing data, metrics and reporting, assisting in the coordination and documentation of recruitment and onboarding and maintaining accurate employee records and systems.

About You

With previous experience of providing administrative support to a busy team, you will have experience of working with systems and databases and been responsible for inputting and reporting on data.

You will have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint) and be able to grasp unfamiliar IT/Digital systems quickly and make suggestions for improvements to ways of working to incorporate new technology.

You will have good verbal and written communication skills required to understand and summarise information, provide succinct and accurate information to a wide range of stakeholders and assist employees with HR enquiries in a professional and compassionate manner.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is crucial for this role as is the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

This umbrella organisation facilitates the work of the grant making trusts and charities. It does not give grants. Each of the 16 trusts, together with associated charitable companies, was set up by an individual member of the family. Each trust is an independent legal entity with a separate focus and board of trustees, in many cases led by the family member who established it. The trusts work in many fields, including the environment, social inclusion, education, scientific research, the arts, and heritage.
