Our client is an independent charity and grant-maker which is part of the Royal College of Nursing Group. Their purpose is to support and strengthen nursing and midwifery, and to improve the health and wellbeing of the public. The charity supports nurses, midwives, nursing associates, healthcare support workers, student nurses and midwives, and retired nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers.

They are seeking to strengthen and widen the scope, expertise and diversity of their Committees to help shape the UK’s healthcare landscape. With ambitious plans for the growth and development of their work, this is an exciting time to join.

External Advisors provide independent and objective specialist knowledge and skills to help shape and inform the work of the Committees and they have the following opportunities currently:

Governance & Nominations Committee External Adviser (x1) 

Candidates will need to bring an excellent understanding and experience of charity governance and appointment to non-executive roles.

Finance & Investments Committee External Adviser (x2) 

Candidates who can offer an understanding and experience of fundraising, with a particular interest in one or more of the following: digital fundraising, regular giving and institutional donors.
