If so, our new community-based charity, SUNSHINE, is seeking a dedicated and skilled volunteer to join us as an Experienced Grant Writer. Our mission is to make a significant impact on the lives of people aged 18 and above who are experiencing loneliness and social isolation in London, with plans to expand beyond the London area.

Role Overview:

As an Experienced Grant Writer, you will play a vital role in helping us secure the funding we need to bring our charity to life. Your expertise in sourcing and writing grants will be essential in generating much-needed income to kick-start our operations and drive our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential grant opportunities suitable for SUNSHINE.

• Write compelling and persuasive grant applications tailored to funders' criteria.

• Develop innovative strategies to secure funding from a range of sources.

• Work closely with the team to understand funding needs and priorities.

• Maintain accurate records of grant applications and outcomes for future reference.
