Job description

Different Planet Arts are looking for new trustees to join our team. We make innovative and accessible award-winning inclusive sensory theatre and arts events for children and young people with complex additional needs and their families to enjoy together. We believe in a world where arts experiences and events are accessible to everyone and celebrated as part of the everyday cultural landscape.

We would particularly like to hear from people with an interest and skills in the following areas

  • Charity Finance
  • fundraising
  • Marketing and audience development
  • Inclusive arts

Different Planet Arts offers trustees:

The opportunity to make a real impact on the future of the charity The chance to develop executive and advisory skills

The opportunity to work on projects that directly support families All reasonable travel expenses

All trustees, are asked to:

Share with Different Planet Arts' staff the task of promoting the profile of the charity

Think strategically about the long-term future and management of the organisation

Attend board meetings 4 times a year
