Job description

Data Entry Volunteer – can you help?

The Hospice Lottery Partnership runs a weekly lottery in support of local charities including Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity in Aylesbury, Michael Sobell Hospice Charity in Northwood, Rennie Grove Hospice Care in Buckinghamshire and West Hertfordshire, South Bucks Hospice in High Wycombe, and The Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted.

We are looking for two volunteers to join us for a one-week placement at our office in Tring to assist with data entry. This role will involve using Microsoft Excel to input data from single tickets sold across our partner charity retail shops for a full month’s records.

If you would enjoy the company of a small and friendly team with copious supply of tea and biscuits, then we would love to hear from you!

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking valuable work experience or a short-term position within the nonprofit sector.

This is a short-term role requiring a one-week commitment, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Flexible options available.

“It is a pleasure to be a part of the team at The Hospice Lottery. As a volunteer, I know I am contributing to a very good cause. It is a friendly and busy office, and everyone is very welcoming and keen to ensure that volunteers are valued, supported and appreciated. Good to be included in staff social events too!” Beryl Washington, Office Volunteer
