Innovation Manager
Are you passionate about driving innovation and making a real impact? We're looking for an Innovation Manager to join our Strategy and Innovation Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and support innovation projects that will drive impact in key impact areas such as 'Getting Around' or 'Skills and Tools for Modern Life'.
As Innovation Manager, you'll use agile methodologies and design thinking to plan and run sprints, and you'll work to support colleagues across the business with Innovation projects. You will play a vital role in embedding a culture of innovation across the organisation and may also need to work with external stakeholders.
This is a permanent contract, and will be suitable for homeworking, or hybrid working at any of our RNIB offices across the UK.

Essential criteria
- Agile project management experience designing and running sprints from initial problem/ opportunity identification, through research and development and into piloting to get proof of concept, launch and beyond (handover / go to market plans)
- Adopts an Insight-led, evidence-based approach
- Experience of Horizon scanning, market research, competitor analysis, audience insight, ideation, prototyping and user testing.
- Familiarity with design thinking and agile principles
- Well-developed resource investigation skills and tenacity
- Problem solving and creative thinking skills
