Job description

Role Overview:
The Talent Set is delighted to be working with a fab Professional Membership as they seek a dynamic and creative Social Media Producer to manage and enhance their organisation’s social media presence.

The successful candidate will oversee daily social media activities, develop content, and execute campaigns that align with our strategic objectives. They will work closely with internal teams and external collaborators to engage audiences and expand their digital reach. Additionally, the postholder will identify and partner with content creators and organisations to develop collaborative content that amplifies our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the organisation’s social media publishing schedule, ensuring all channels remain current, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Create and schedule organic and paid content tailored to different platforms and audience segments.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, advising colleagues on best practices for effective social media engagement.
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns that support key initiatives and events.
  • Produce compelling multimedia content in partnership with internal teams and external creative agencies.
  • Track, analyse, and optimise campaign performance to ensure impact and return on investment.
  • Use analytics and audience insights to refine content strategies and improve engagement.
  • Stay informed about emerging social media platforms and assess their potential value.
  • Streamline and enhance social media management tools and processes.
  • Identify and establish relationships with content creators and organisations that align with our mission.
  • Develop and manage collaborative content initiatives, including sponsored and partnership posts.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of collaborations in expanding audience reach and engagement.


Person Specification:

  • Proven experience managing social media channels for an established organisation.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, platforms, and best practices.
  • Expertise in creating and optimising social media content, including visuals and multimedia.
  • Ability to develop and execute paid and organic social media campaigns.
  • Experience using analytics tools to assess performance and inform decision-making.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and content curation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience in working with external partners, influencers, or content creators.
  • Familiarity with social media management and monitoring tools.
  • A background or strong interest in humanities, social sciences, or cultural initiatives.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours commitments.
  • Creative and innovative approach to digital engagement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
