Why do we need you?
The volunteer role will support the Women Together project on two important areas:
1. Women’s Group (on Wednesday morning) - in person
We run weekly groups for women who are refugees, asylum seekers or migrants and have experienced sexual and gender-based violence and other trauma. We need you to help us make sure that our groups run smoothly, that all the women who attend are included and supported, and to help keep the groups lively and active.
2. Project Monitoring - in person and/ or remotely
We need some help to monitor the Project, i.e. collecting data on the impact that our project activities (mainly the Women’s Group and the Counselling Service) are having on our clients’ mental health and on their lives in general.
What activities will you be involved in?
In consultation with the Women Together Manager and the Women's Group Coordinator you will support the Project by:
Women’s Group
-

-
Assisting with the running of the sessions as agreed and supported by the Group’s Coordinator
-
Reimbursing travel costs/topping up clients’ phones if they have attended events online
Project Monitoring

-
Contacting clients who do not attend the Women’s Group to fill out questionnaires
