Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager (Philanthropy)
Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager
The Freedom Fund is a global non-profit dedicated to ending modern slavery. Since 2014, we’ve invested over $100 million into frontline organisations and coalitions, helping to shift power to local actors and create lasting systems change. Our new strategy doubles down on this commitment, investing in anti-slavery movements, fostering collaboration, and working as a trusted partner to the incredible people and organisations driving this work forward.
We are now looking for a Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our passionate, collaborative Partnerships Team. This role is a unique opportunity for a strategic relationship-builder, creative storyteller, and confident fundraiser who wants to make a meaningful impact.
As Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will help shape and deliver our fundraising strategy with a particular focus on growing and stewarding funding relationships with private donors , including high net worth individuals, foundations and philanthropies. You’ll research new opportunities, develop compelling proposals, build relationships with prospective donors, and lead on complex bids, working closely with colleagues across the organisation to develop innovative pitches and high-quality donor communications. You’ll also support (and occasionally lead) joint donor initiatives, engagement groups, and strategic events.
You’ll bring exceptional writing and communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and experience leading successful fundraising proposals within a non-profit setting. You will be confident engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders, and comfortable juggling priorities in a fast-paced, purpose-driven team.
We are particularly interested in candidates with lived experience of trafficking and/or forced labour. We also warmly welcome applications from people of the global majority, those who identify as disabled, and individuals from lower socio-economic backgrounds, groups that continue to be underrepresented at a senior level in the sector.
If you’re passionate about human rights, excited by the opportunity to shape global partnerships, and eager to work with a team who care deeply about equity, collaboration and impact, then we would love to hear from you.
Interview Process: Two-stage interview. First interviews will be held virtually w/c 14th April.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
