Are you a numbers whiz with a heart for making a real impact? Menphys, a dynamic and passionate charity supporting disabled children and their families, is on the lookout for a dedicated Trustee with an accountancy background. This is a voluntary role where your expertise can help shape the future of an incredible organisation!
Who Are We?
Menphys has been at the heart of the community for over 50 years, providing life-changing support, inclusive activities, and vital resources for disabled children and their families. Our mission is simple: to create a world where every child, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to thrive.
The Role
As a Trustee, you’ll play a key part in overseeing our financial sustainability, ensuring transparency, and guiding strategic decisions. We need someone who can bring financial expertise, insight, and a fresh perspective to our Board, helping us continue to grow and make a difference.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified or training accountant or finance professional (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
- Experience in financial oversight, budgeting, and risk management
- A passion for supporting children and young people with disabilities
- Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to Board discussions
- Commitment to attending monthly Board meetings and occasional subcommittees
