The Welfare Benefits Unit is committed to delivering a high-quality service whilst looking to expand our offer and generate increased independent revenue. This post is suited to someone with an understanding of the charity or advice sector, with demonstrable development skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

·       Strategic direction and delivery

·       Business development and marketing

·       Governance

·       Funding and financial management

·       HR

·       Service standards and monitoring

The Chief Executive takes leadership responsibility, effectively supported by the Advice Service Manager who provides operational management. The WBU team are noted for their expertise, friendliness and professionalism, receiving consistently good feedback.
