Job description

Volunteer Position: Ambassador.
Location: Remote.
Reports to: Social Media Manager / Fundraising Manager / Region-specific Volunteer Coordinator.

Position Summary:
As an Ambassador for ROLDA, you will be the digital voice of our mission, supporting ROLDA’s online fundraising efforts and amplifying our cause across social media and online platforms. This role is perfect for someone passionate about animal welfare and skilled in digital communication who can help us engage supporters, increase donations, and broaden ROLDA’s online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop and share engaging posts, stories, and other social media content to inspire donations and raise awareness for ROLDA’s mission.

  • Campaign Support: Work closely with the fundraising team to promote ROLDA’s online campaigns, events, and initiatives, creating buzz and engaging followers.

  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and questions, fostering a positive and welcoming online environment.

  • Online Advocacy: Share ROLDA’s stories, updates, and needs across social platforms to build a supportive community and educate followers on the impact of their contributions.

  • Digital Fundraising Outreach: Use personal and ROLDA’s social networks to support peer-to-peer fundraising efforts, encouraging others to share and participate.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on social media engagement and online fundraising efforts, helping refine strategies for reaching a broader audience.

Requirements:

  • Experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (nonprofit experience is a plus).

  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.

  • Knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet online engagement goals.

  • Passionate about animal welfare and committed to ROLDA’s mission.

Time Commitment:

  • Flexible hours, with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week.
