Finance IM Independent Committee Members

Scope is looking for an Independent Committee Member with finance expertise to help us maintain the highest standards of oversight and accountability. This is a great opportunity for a recently qualified finance professional to make a real difference while gaining valuable experience in charity governance.

The role

As a Finance Committee Member, you will work alongside Trustees and senior leaders, using your financial skills to support key decisions. You will help ensure Scope’s resources are managed effectively to maximise impact for disabled people and their families.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is CCAB-qualified (or equivalent) within the last five years, with some experience outside accountancy practice.
• Has a strong understanding of financial reporting, cash flow management, and business decision-making.
• Is detail-focused, analytical, and committed to transparency.
• Works well with others and values teamwork.
