Job description

Do you want to see an end to global poverty? Do you want to campaign on issues such as refugees, inequality and climate change? Then why not give a few hours per month as a volunteer Constituency Campaigner?

As a Constituency Campaigner, you might find yourself persuading your MP to turn up and vote for new legislation that will ensure more refugees can be reunited with their families or meeting with your MP to talk to them about why action on climate change matters to you.

Whatever your background or experience, if you can devote a few hours a month and share our values and passion for tackling the issues that cause suffering to so many, then please join us. Our volunteer Constituency Campaigner Programme gives you the influencing skills and information to be able to engage your MP and other decision-makers on Oxfam's campaigns. No previous experience is necessary. You will learn about the issues that we campaign on, the work of an international development charity and how Parliament works.

Induction training: You will need to attend a one day induction training in London on 22nd of March 2025. Expenses to travel to the training and food will be reimbursed. Catering will also be available on the induction training day.
