Job description

 The Grants Officer will research, apply for, and manage grant funding opportunities to secure financial support for Light Up Children’s programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify relevant grant opportunities from trusts, foundations, and funding bodies.

  • Write compelling grant applications and funding proposals.

  • Manage reporting requirements and maintain relationships with funders.

  • Track application deadlines and funding cycles.

  • Work closely with the fundraising team to align grant applications with fundraising strategies.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong writing and research skills.

  • Experience in grant writing or fundraising (preferred but not essential).

  • Detail-oriented with good organisational skills.
