Cathedral Safeguarding Officer

Ripon Cathedral is currently seeking a part-time Cathedral Safeguarding Officer who will help us to continue growing a strong safeguarding culture.

This role will help to champion safeguarding best practice throughout the cathedral community, will support development and implementation of policy and best practice, and will advise on and process safeguarding cases.

We’re looking for someone with a relevant professional qualification (or equivalent experience in safeguarding), experience of managing safeguarding casework, an empathy for the mission and values of Ripon Cathedral and excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

This is a permanent flexible part-time role (14 hours a week).  The salary will be £37,000 pro rata (£14,800).
