Job description

You will be part of the NEWMIND Buckley Walk and Talk, providing essential wellbeing services to the local community.

Main tasks 

You will be working alongside other volunteers and paid staff respectively to cater to the communities needs via outdoor and recreational activities.

Skills and experience 

No experience necessary.

You will gain skills and experience while engaged with the walk and talk sessions including time management, social skills, safeguarding, assertiveness, conflict resolution and wellbeing awareness.

Timescales (where, when and how often)

Our Buckley Walk and Talk session takes place every Monday between 13:00 and 15:00 meeting at:

Buckley Library,

The Precinct,

Brunswick Road,

Buckley,

Flintshire,

We require all of our new volunteers to undergo a 2 week training period, all training is fully provided.

How you will be supported?

You will be fully supported by the Volunteer Coordinator at NEWMIND providing shadowing, training, safeguarding and will be available to answer any questions and concerns.
