About the Wild at Heart Foundation:

Wild at Heart Foundation is dedicated to reducing this shocking statistic through compassionate sterilisation programmes with global partners, as well as welfare and education initiatives. We are committed to bringing about real change for stray dogs worldwide and inspiring a global community to care for animals in need.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Marketing Intern to lend administrative support to PR, marketing, and general office activities. This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to actively gain hands-on experience by contributing to meaningful campaigns, support brand growth, and assist in promoting our mission across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & PR:

Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns as directed, including social media, email, and content marketing.

Support PR efforts by helping to draft press releases, liaising with junior media contacts, and managing the dissemination of press clippings.

Maintain and update media lists and track PR coverage.

Collaborate on content creation for the website, including blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.

Monitor campaign performance metrics and compile reports to inform strategy.
Social Media Management:

Help manage social media channels, including scheduling posts and engaging with our online community.

Stay up-to-date with social media trends and suggest innovative ideas to increase engagement.
Event Support:

Assist with planning and promoting fundraising and community events.

Help coordinate event logistics, communications, and materials.
General Office Duties:

Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, answering emails, and handling correspondence.

Maintain and organise digital and physical files related to marketing activities.

Support the wider team with day-to-day office operations and ad-hoc tasks, such as handling mailing of merchandise orders from warehouse.
Skills and Qualifications:

A passion for animal welfare and an alignment with charity mission and values.

Experience of using Wordpress.

A degree or relevant experience in marketing, PR, communications, or a related field.

Strong writing and editing skills with a creative flair for storytelling.

Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and basic knowledge of social media analytics.

Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work both independently and as part of a team.
