Who we are

LCT’s mission is to:

– provide high quality counselling in our community

– offer further cost reductions for people in difficult circumstances

– work with others to offer focussed help to specific groups (currently including rough sleepers and health sector workers).

We have just completed our first year as an independent organisation having previously been a division in a large church.

All our staff are Christians but we work with people of any faith or no faith.

The role

We are looking for Christians with a commitment to helping improve mental health and wellbeing through the provision of high quality counselling in our diverse local community.

We have just completed our first year as an independent charity having previously been a church department. Our teams are all Christians but we exist to serve people of all faiths or none.

We are looking for 2 Trustees to support our next phase which will be to increase our profile in our community and work with other organisations to support mental health and well being.

Specific skills in areas such as legal, HR, fundraising would be great. But not as important as a heart for our work.
