Skills Administrator
Icon, the Institute of Conservation, is a charity and professional membership organisation dedicated to safeguarding cultural heritage and championing the value of conservation. As a key member of our small, dedicated team, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day operation of our continuing professional development and the administration of Icon's Accreditation programme.
This role will involve managing the day-to-day operations of Icon’s continuing professional development, professional accreditation, and training activities, all aimed at supporting the growth of a highly skilled conservation-restoration workforce. You will play a key part in building on Icon’s achievements in standards development, education, and training, ensuring these initiatives continue to evolve. With the opportunity to work closely with over 400 volunteers, you will make a meaningful impact on the working lives of conservator-restorers across the UK and beyond.
This role is based at Icon’s office in Farringdon, London. Icon operates a hybrid working policy, which requires staff to be in the office at least two days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.
The post-holder will report directly to the Accreditation and Skills Manager.
