You will also support the director in organisational tasks relating to CSR/ charity work with Brent Schools Football, which Housing Plus has supported for many years.

Strong organisational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, a problem solving and “can do” attitude, a degree of flexibility and a strong team-player ethic are essential. As a minimum, you’ll also have a good working knowledge of google docs and classrooms, and the Microsoft suite of apps.

Living relatively locally would be a significant advantage and a driving licence useful, but not essential. You may be required to work across our four locations in North-West London and there may be some, mainly remote, duty work out of normal office hours .

From time to time you may have contact with the young people and will need to be supportive, understanding and sensitive to their needs. You will also be capable of liaising with a wide range of professionals as required. Training in key areas such as safeguarding with be provided.

·       Scheduling meetings, taking minutes and following up on actions

·       Supporting the recruitment process  - following up references; DBS applications, etc, and maintaining HR and training records

·       Helping to maintain financial records/ support with accounting administration

·       Monitoring and procuring cost-efficient contracts, including utilities and telecoms across the placements.

Rather we actively promote equality of opportunity for all those who have the right mix of talent, skills and potential. Selection for roles will be based on individual merit alone. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people is integral to our work and we expect all staff to share this commitment and to work to our code of conduct. Housing Plus operates stringent safer recruitment procedures.
