Your new company
My client is a small London-based charity.
Your new role
This role is a key role within the Finance team. It is a full-time temporary position, expected to be for 3 months, but could extend. Duties will include:
Reconciling bank accounts
Processing donations
Dealing with Gift Aid
Overseeing electronic cash receipts
Raise and account for cheques Work with colleagues to issue payments to suppliers via direct debit and standing ordersProduce a daily report of donor receipts for the fundraising team
Keep all mandates and signatories up to date for all bank accounts Develop and maintain accurate rolling short term cash forecasts by liaising with teams across the businessUse of internal systems and Excel
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need experience of working in Finance, including the duties above. If you were studying for an accountancy qualification and had strong Excel skills, this would also be an advantage.
