Your new company
I am working with a Higher Education Institution, and we are looking for a Change Manager to join the team ASAP. The main purpose of this role is to lead on the development and delivery of the change management plan, in order to deliver and achieve the post-merger targets. You will be promoting the benefits of continuous improvement and change across the organisation, ensuring it aligns with the university's vision. You will be focusing on the PEOPLE SIDE of change - this includes impact assessments, cultural integration and readiness.

Your new role
The successful postholder will:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all change-related activities.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and staff engagement.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, across numerous campuses, to ensure effective communication and buy-in.
  • Monitor and report on the process of change initiatives.
  • Facilitate training and development sessions for staff.
  • Identify potential risks and points of resistance, and develop plans to overcome these.

What you'll need to succeed
This position is ideal for someone who has:

  • Relevant professional qualification (Prosci / APMG)
  • A demonstrable track record of change management or mergers in a complex business environment.
  • Demonstrable experience working at a senior level within higher education, NHS or other public sector organisations.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the management of major projects and programmes, and approaches to enabling change in large and complex organisations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation and presentation skills
