Harris Hill is proud to be partnering with Woking and Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing in their search for a dedicated and dynamic HR Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of HR, playing a crucial part in supporting the organisation’s mission by ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations.

Title: HR Manager
Hours: Full time, permanent. 37.5 hours a week, Flexible working hours available
Salary: £50,000 per annum plus benefits 
Location: Ideally on site in Woking 4 days per week, one day working from home, but there may be some travel to retail sites across North West Surrey. 

Closing date: Monday 23rd September at 9am

1st stage interviews will be held virtually the week commencing the 23rd of September and the 2nd stage will be held in person the week commencing the 30th September.

What this role entails?

As the HR Manager at Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality operational HR service across the organisation. You will support all employees, the senior leadership team, and trustees by ensuring that HR operations run smoothly and efficiently.

You will be responsible for providing robust HR support across the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and development. Your role ensures that every stage of an employee’s journey with the organisation is managed effectively and in line with best practices. You will oversee the day-to-day operational management of the HR function, ensuring that all HR processes and systems are running efficiently and effectively. You will provide direct line management to the HR Administrators and HR Advisor, offering guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles to the highest standard. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a cohesive and motivated HR team.

  • You will have a background in HR Management and experience relevant to the level of role. 
  • A highly personable personality is essential, with purpose and commitment at your core, you will be adept at holding valuable relationships with care and clarity.
