Facilities & Compliance Manager
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week
Location: Newton Aycliffe – Able to operate from local bases as appropriate

About the role

Are you an experienced Facilities Manager with a background in overseeing workplace health and safety and business compliance?  Groundwork North East & Cumbria is a successful charity working across out local communities to carry out hundreds of diverse community-led projects that change people’s lives now, and also make our communities more resilient for the future.

We have a great opportunity to join our team in a leading role maintaining and developing our portfolio of owned and leased buildings and office facilities located across the North East and Cumbria.  We are looking for a successful Facilities Manager preferably with experience of looking after multiple sites and with up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulation and good practice. You will be an enthusiastic self-starter, with a can-do attitude, who can juggle and manage a varied workload as well as having excellent, communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.

As part of our wider corporate services teams, you’ll be supporting our successful and passionate operational teams to deliver projects which make a real difference in our local communities.
