Interim Financial Controller

Are you a seasoned charity sector financial leader with a passion for making a difference? A prestigious international development charity is seeking an Interim Financial Controller to join their team!

As Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management of the organisation, overseeing the financial control framework, leading the Financial Accounts Team, and ensuring the accurate and timely production of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate the financial control framework
• Lead the Financial Accounts Team (of four)
• Produce annual statutory accounts and manage the audit process
• Manage treasury and cash flow
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close
• Manage tax compliance
• Manage the relationship with the Shared Service Centre
• Support finance transformation initiatives

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Substantial leadership experience in a complex charity, preferably international
• Proven track record in financial management and control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
