Tenancy Sustainment Officer

A renowned housing provider in the local area in East London is looking for a Tenancy Sustainment Officer.

The organisation's aim is be local, visible and supportive to its community whilst providing excellent customer service to their tenants.

They are looking for someone with tenancy sustainment / financial inclusion/ welfare benefits experience to come in and add value to the role.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting and guiding tenants through their tenancies
• Welfare benefits advice and support
• Providing advice to vulnerable tenants
• Carrying out benefits checks and income maximisation

Requirements:

• Knowledge of welfare benefits to help sustain tenancies
• Strong customer service and a supportive nature
• Understanding of safeguarding legislation and polices
• Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
