Advocacy and external affairs lead

irlguiding is recruiting for an Advocacy and external affairs lead to support our efforts to build a fairer, safer UK for girls and young women. We are looking for someone who is passionate about ensuring that girls’ and young women’s voices are heard by decision-makers. The post holder will have a solid awareness of the current UK political landscape, be a skilled communicator and have a robust knowledge of relevant policy issues.

In this role, you will support the young members of our advocate panel in their work speaking to decision makers, including MPs, and the media. The advocates seek change to improve all girls' lives. You will also support the panel more widely, helping to give them a platform to use their voices and seek change at the highest levels. You will scope and deliver opportunities with cross-sector partners, and help position Girlguiding as an expert in girls’ and young women’s lives in the UK.
