Job description

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it. 

Contract: Fixed term contract till 31 Jan 2025 

Hours: We are open to applications from candidates looking for full time work (35 hours per week) or part time (a minimum of 28 hours per week). We are also open to compressed hours in line with Crisis’ Flexible Working Policy.  

Location: Based in London but with extremely flexible home-working available in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working policy

About the role 

We are seeking a fixed term Supporter Data Executive to help us through our busy Christmas period. In this role you will use Faststats to create complex data selections and deliver supporter data for mass fundraising appeals through email and post. You will be competent in managing projects with previous experience of leading fundraising appeals from a data perspective. The role will be collaborative, working closely with fundraising managers, external suppliers, and other key internal teams.  

You will work to improve data quality across the organisation, ensuring data is properly checked before delivery. You will have used a CRM (preferably Raisers Edge) to a high technical level and be responsible for post appeal data cleansing and appending. The work of this team is impactful and plays a pivotal role in reaching supporters to raise funds to end homelessness.  

About you 

To be successful in this role you will be: 

  • Comfortable handling large datasets with a strong technical ability to manipulate them.  

  • Exceptionally organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously to time-critical deadlines.  

  • Conscientious and driven to deliver data of the highest accuracy, striving to identify errors and amend promptly.  

  • A great communicator, able to work collaboratively and engage a range of stakeholders across the campaign process.  

  • Adaptable to learn new ways of working and reliable to act quickly at short notice.
