Job description

We are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join our Direct Payment Support Services in Milton Keynes to provide payroll administration support to over 150 disabled people who employ their own care staff.

About the role.

Working within a small friendly finance team, you will be providing administrative support to process our client’s timesheets though PAYE systems.

·You will be recording PAYE information and be responsible for helping keep processing schedules up to date and support our Holding Account service to submit payments onto our banking systems.

·You will support the team with maintaining a high level of record keeping, ensuring client’s notes are recorded onto our database systems.

·You will support with general administrative tasks which include but not limited to creating letters and updating and creating electronic case files.

·You will also be supporting the services with making phone calls to our clients to chase information or clarify information they have sent to us where applicable.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an amazing team that enables disabled people to be in control of their own care services with flexible working hours which can fit around other commitments.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, across Monday – Friday. We welcome discussions around part time, job share or flexible working.

Starting salary £24,397 - £26,649 per annum, pro rata, dependent on experience.

This post will predominantly be working from home, with occasional trips to the office for meetings and/or training.

About you.

You understand that attention to detail and being organised is key to effective finance administration.  Your able to prioritise work and have excellent communication skills which allow you to build positive relationships whilst treating people with respect, dignity and empathy.

Your experience includes at least two years of finance administrative experience and a good understanding of using online payroll and accounting systems although training is provided.  **We use Xero accounting and Brightpay payroll software.

You are highly organised, calm under pressure, a strong team player who can also work on your own initiative, and most importantly are passionate about making a difference.
