Job description

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide a flexible, supportive and responsive service to people who have a significant history of mental ill health and distress.

 

You will be passionate, inspirational, open minded and most importantly you will be yourself. Every day is different you will get a buzz from the variety of challenges you’ll face each shift and make a real difference to the lives of service users.

 

Your approach to supporting people will be recovery focused, enabling people to make lasting changes and achieve their personal goals. You will have a creative attitude to your work and possess the skills to build positive therapeutic relationships.

  • Experience of building and maintaining positive working relationships

·         Great interpersonal skills including listening and empathy

  • The ability to work collaboratively and positively with clients, carers, and other service providers
