Advice and Information Service Coordinator

City & Hackney Carers Centre is a warm, welcoming and inclusive organisation which aims to improve the quality of life for unpaid carers. A cornerstone of our organisation is the provision of high-quality information and advice, enabling carers to understand their rights and entitlements.

We are seeking a bi or multi-lingual advisor (Bengali, Somali, Urdu, Hindi or Turkish) to oversee the day to day running of the advice service, to deliver face-to-face, telephone and group advice to unpaid carers and the people they support.

This post would suit someone with significant experience of income maximisation and poverty reduction work and who is looking to develop their management skills.

Our team work in a hybrid manner with some homeworking and office working and with face-to-face services delivered across community settings in Hackney. 

We seek a motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who enjoys working with teams and with people generally and who is passionate about  delivering the highest quality advice to unpaid carers
