Job description

Citizens Advice Eastleigh tries to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face, and to the best of our ability. Our mission is to help people solve their problems.

As members of the Citizens Advice network, we also share the aims of that service:

  • We provide the advice people need for the problems they face.
  • We help drive improvements in the policies and practices that affect people’s live.

We provide a service which people can rely on because we're independent and totally impartial.

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded five years of National Lottery Reaching Communities funding. This support will help us future-proof our services and develop sustainably to meet the needs of our community.

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging individual to join our team and enhance our volunteer support program. This role is pivotal in our mission to assist as many people as possible. You will have the opportunity to shape and implement our volunteer recruitment, training, and support processes.

We are looking for a candidate with at least two years of experience with Citizens Advice or a similar advice-giving organisation, and who has experience supporting volunteers or other workers in advising the public. You will be a good communicator and motivator, able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, along with an understanding of the differences of managing paid staff and volunteers.

This position is ideal for an existing Advice Session Supervisor, trainer, or an experienced generalist adviser looking to advance their career.

If this sounds like you, apply now and contribute to delivering positive social change across Eastleigh.
