Hours: 20 hours per week (some flexibility)

Salary: £25,000 pro rata

Location: At home with some time in the Petersfield Citizens Advice office (GU32 3HH) and Petersfield Hospital (GU32 3LB)

Home and Well is a project developed by Citizens Advice Hampshire, in partnership with a range of other agencies, and has been running successfully over the last year. Building on this success, Citizens Advice East Hampshire is looking to recruit an adviser to support vulnerable people at risk of hospitalisation and support for those in the Petersfield Hospital and in the community.

The position of Home and Well Adviser is offered on a fixed-term contract to the end of March 2026 The role is part-time, 20 hours a week with a requirement to attend Petersfield Hospital at least once a week.  Training will be provided for the right candidate.  As this involves working with vulnerable members of the community, a DBS check will be required.

The role will also support people with Priority Services Registration, providing initial financial assessments, introducing them to utility company payment schemes, giving fuel poverty advice, and related support. You will have excellent communication and IT skills, be able to collate statistics, manage your targets and develop working relationships effectively. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
