Finance Officer / Bookkeeper 

Hours - 25 hours per week  

Salary - £26,249 FTE per annum (£16,405 actual)

Our charity, the Carers Support Centre, works across Bristol and S. Glos to support unpaid family carers who are supporting their loved ones at home.

Based in our friendly, relaxed office in Fishponds, this role will require someone with an outgoing personality and a love of helping people from all walks of life.

We currently have a vacancy in our Finance Team to support the Finance Manager in managing the charity’s finances.    

Main duties would include: 

·       Support the Finance Manager in the effective management of the organisation's finances through the accurate maintenance of financial records.

·       Working with the Finance Manager to report to the Board of Trustees and Charities Commission.

·       Support charity staff through expenses and payroll work.

·       Learn the basics of audit function and Finance Manager support.

·       This is a varied role with lots of scope for development of existing knowledge and skills as well as the opportunity to develop in new areas.
