About us
Women and Girls Network (WGN) was established in 1987 and has spent over 30 years supporting women and girls across London affected by gendered violence. This includes childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, prostitution (including trafficking and sexual exploitation), female genital mutilation (FGM), and so-called ‘honour’ based crimes such as forced marriage.
Our goal is to promote, preserve, and restore the mental health and wellbeing of women and girls, to empower them to make a total and sustainable recovery from the experiences of violence.
London Survivors Gateway
London Survivors Gateway (LSG) is made up of the four London Rape Crisis Centres, Galop, Survivors UK, Respond and the Havens and together make up the LSG partnership. Women and Girls Network (WGN) leads this collaborative partnership which provides an information and access service across London for survivors of sexual violence, aged 13+, who wish to access ongoing support. The LSG works with people of all genders.
LSG aims to ensure diversity and equality is at the centre of the service and service delivery, and that the service continues to be responsive to, and meet the needs of all survivors in a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive way.
About the role
We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Navigators to join the LSG. The Navigators will act as first point of contact for survivors of sexual violence and the professionals supporting them, by providing holistic and non-judgemental information, advice and support. They will support survivors (via telephone) to access additional specialist sexual violence services through trauma-informed triage and assessment.
WGN is also looking for a highly motivated and experienced Rapid Response Senior Navigator to support the LSG team by responding effectively and efficiently to enquiries that need to be prioritised due to safeguarding risk. They will help triage, assess and refer clients with multiple disadvantages into supporting service.

About the Role
As Deputy Service Manager, you will manage a team delivering an assessment, support and move on service to care leavers in supported accommodation and outreach services.
Working under the direction, guidance and support of the Pathway Manager you will facilitate services to ensure a seamless and cohesive accommodation-based support package for young care leavers who may be at risk of homelessness across Cheshire West and Chester, or who need support in their own homes through the outreach services.

Key responsibilities include:
· Deputies for the Pathway Manager during periods of his or her absence, in the service delivery including external meetings such as monitoring and contract review meetings with the commissioners.
· Manage the service delivery at the accommodation services and outreach, line managing the staff teams.
· Providing relevant reporting internally and externally, including ensuring all health and safety requirements are completed promptly to comply with Housing Associations and legal obligations of the landlord.
· You will ensure the highest standards of support to young people is provided and that housing management is effective, and you will work to KPI targets in these areas.
· You will be committed to working in and maintaining an environment that supports the safeguarding of young people.

About You
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
· Significant management experience, including experiencing supervising the work of teams and individuals.
· Experience in sound decision-making processes in a wide range of complex situations where there is a requirement to consider a range of options/courses of action and risk management, including safeguarding children and young people.
· Experience of safe service delivery to young people at risk.
· Experience in using Risk Assessments and Support Planning.
· Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

Mental Health Homelessness Outreach Team Leader

About the Service
This is a pilot service working as a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) with housing teams and Drug and Alcohol Services across District and Borough councils. These teams will be working with individuals who are presenting as homeless and have a number of Complex Needs. The Complex Needs Housing Team Leader plays a significant role in the co-ordination and running of the Complex Needs Housing Service.
The objectives of Hertfordshire Mind Complex Needs Housing Service are:
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental ill health.
- To increase early access to help for people experiencing mental ill health in, by providing a clear and effective pathway to services provided by Herts Mind Network and other third sector and statutory providers.
- To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- To reduce the use of police, ASB, tenancy enforcement, housing needs and environmental health services by clients whose primary need is related to mental ill health.
- To reduce the use of crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health with positive outcomes for the individual.
- To provide an assertive outreach approach for clients who are in crisis and/ or those that may have complex or multiple needs.
- To work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) consisting of Change Grow Live (CGL), District and Borough councils, housing teams and other professionals.
This role is key to the development and support of the team and the wider organisation.
The post holder will need to:
- Support the Services Manager with effective running of the Complex Needs Housing Service.
- Provide advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients who are experiencing mental ill health or need support with their mental wellbeing. These will be clients who are presenting to District and Borough councils as homeless and need intervention and support with their mental health.
- Line manage staff and where necessary volunteers.
- Lead a team of Mental Health Outreach Workers. Ensuring the team are using databases and outcome tools as required to report for the project.
Key Responsibilities
- To receive and process referrals from the local district and borough Councils for those who have presented as homeless with a mental health need, as well as other appropriate referrals pathways across Hertfordshire and make direct contact within 72 hours of referral.
- To establish effective pathways across a variety of agencies to maximise and provide effective partnership working.
- To manage a caseload of up to 5 clients.
- Embed a holistic, trauma informed and person-centred service
- Proactively recognise the indicators of deteriorating mental health and facilitate appropriate action, whilst liaising with relevant agencies.
- Ensure a direct community service is in place which encourages, motivates and builds patients self-esteem and confidence. This will include goal setting and support with social and practical skills development.
- Ensure all person-centred risk assessments and support plans are completed as appropriate.
- To assist clients to access appropriate mental health services, drug and alcohol services, housing/tenancy services and other services according to assessed needs.
- To work with partners both internal and external to ensure that vulnerable person’s cases are monitored and risks evaluated in order to promote community safety.
- Support clients to build their emotional resilience and crisis planning tools, promoting self-management through building an understanding of their own triggers/coping strategies.
- To work with HMN staff in other services in order to make onward referrals to other projects.
- Liaise with appropriate HPFT staff to ensure that individuals are assessed for personal budgets to support with any longer-term needs.
- Support individuals to develop sustainable local social networks, both through our Herts Mind Network Wellbeing Centres and other community services and resources.
The successful candidate will play a significant role in the co-ordination and running of the Complex Needs Housing Service.

About the role
We are looking to recruit a permanent multi-skilled advocate to join our busy Halton Advocacy HUB multi-disciplinary team, working 22.5 hours per week.
Based in Halton, for this exciting multi-disciplinary role, we are looking for those with a particular interest in Non-Statutory Advocacy as the role will be based in a secure unit for up to two days a week. This role involves providing general advocacy support to patients in supporting form filling, sourcing general information, signposting and general low-level concerns and safeguarding issues around their care not covered by the IMHA role. The role also covers the NHS Complaints Advocacy in our Warrington HUB (or Halton Hub when required), helping people who need support in making a complaint about their care and treatment under the NHS.
We also require a talented person to undertake the role of the RPR to support individuals detained under the Mental capacity Act on a DoLS when needed.
What we need from you
We are looking for someone who has the creativity and enthusiasm to support people in difficult circumstances, ideally has experience in a health or social care and may have their own life experiences relevant to the role. Although it would be useful to already hold a formal advocacy qualification, if you have not got advocacy qualifications it is not a problem, we will provide the required training.
You will be working from a secure mental health unit for up to two days a week and then the rest of the week will either be working from home so must have access to a stable home broadband service. There will also be an element of the role where you will be out in the community, but not exclusively, in Warrington, Halton, Widnes and Runcorn areas and therefore you must have access to your own transport.
There may be times when work is required outside normal working hours, so flexibility is required.

The Macmillan Welfare Benefits project is funded by the Macmillan cancer charity and provides Money Advice to people (or their carers/families) who have a cancer diagnosis.
You will have lots of support from an experienced and friendly team and you will be responsible for managing your own caseload and achieving agreed project KPIs.
The enquiry area that you will deal with predominantly is benefits advice and benefits casework. You can call on wider, specialist teams to address more specialist issues.
The role
Reporting to the Benefits and Generalist Group Manager, you will:
