SUPPORTER SERVICES TEAM LEADER

Salary: £32,500 per annum

Reports to: Supporter Services Manager

Department: Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement

Location: Sterling House, Oxford (1 - 2 days per week). We are open to discussing further flexibility for the successful candidate.

Employment type: Permanent

Working hours: 35 hours per week (occasional weekend work may be required)

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Supporter Services Team Leader. We need you to line manage and drive performance of a number of Supporter Services Executives and a seasonal team of Race for Life Advisors, ensuring the Race for Life Campaign is delivered in line with agreed KPI's and SLA's and an excellent level of service is delivered to our supporters.

What will I be doing?

  • Accountable for recruiting, line managing and developing a team and providing day to day support ensuring high levels of service and maintaining functional expertise

  • Working with the wider Service Delivery Manager network across Supporter Engagement to ensure well rounded stakeholder management and cost effective, timely & efficient supporter led solutions

  • Being responsible for creating a positive culture which recognises success, develops and drives high performance and rewards results to retain talent within the team and wider Supporter Engagement function

  • Responsible for setting objectives and KPIs (key performance indicators) for the team, monitoring and tracking over performance with recognition, and supporting under performance through the performance management process.

What skills do I need to have?

  • Proven experience of line management

  • Experience of monitoring performance and implementing and managing SLA's & KPI's

  • Confident in dealing with conflict and managing differing views and priorities

  • Relevant experience in managing projects

  • Able to work unsupervised and manage own time and priorities as well as those for others

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain relationships and communicating across a wide-ranging audience.
